Pioneering Education
In 1944, Mr D. A. Ogunsuyi became the first in Igogo to finish Standard Six education. This was at Saint Andrew’s Anglican School, Usi. Other registered pupils in various schools at the time were Mr. M. Ola Ajayi, Cecilia Bosede, Mr. J. F. Alaka, Mr. J. B. Olowa, Madam Elizabeth Olowa, Mr. J. K. Adeosun, Late Gabriel Agbelusi and Mr. John Aina Afelebe. Mr. J. K. Adeosun was the first pupil at the Roman Catholic School, Igogo to complete standard six. He finished at Saint Georges’ Catholic School, Ado Ekiti.
